Houston Filmmakers Teach Hollywood A Lesson

Houston independent film-making duo Brian and Shaun Kennedy, collectively known as Quantum Optic Productions, have perhaps inadvertently challenged big Hollywood studios.
With a few bucks and a few friends, the filmmakers have put together a live action trailer based on the video game brawler Tekken that has created quite the clamor amongst fans of the series and within the internet blogosphere by–very simply, Hollywood–remaining faithful to its source material.
And also by just being badass with its intense fight choreography, special effects, impressive shots of various Houston-area locations, and music written and composed by Shaun Kennedy himself.
Originally intended to be submitted into a G4 video game trailer contest, the film-making brothers unfortunately missed the deadline. Luckily, that didn’t stop them from finishing what they started, sharing it with fans around the world, and leaving many wanting a Quantum Optic produced feature length, instead of the big budget, fan-alienating film that will most likely be released.
Check it out!
We’ll have an interview with the Kennedy Bros. up soon.
