SOPA and PIPA (the Protect IP Act) both pose a significant problem for the free Internet. These bills are largely being backed by major media players that are poised to have greater control over the distribution of media should these bills be passed. Imagine your website being non-indexable because you are on a search engine black list. This is a serious game changer folks, and we need to voice our discontent. If this bill passes, the free Internet will be changed forever.
