2/3 Lubbock, Texas’ One Wolf to play Notsuoh in Houston, Texas

One Wolf –  Backyard.mp3 (4 MB)

Lubbock’s One Wolf will be touring through town on Feb. 3, playing Notsuoh with Lazio.

After parting ways with his old band, Daniel Markham started One Wolf. Influenced by bands that range from Tears for Fears and New Order to Hank Williams and Whiskeytown, Markham decided to create something that fell somewhere between those two extremes – and out of that idea grew One Wolf. One Wolf’s solo songs range from spaghetti western to sci-fi explosion, helped by producer Jason Martin (Starflyer 59), who brought One Wolf’s original sound full circle. Their debut, self-titled album is something that fans of both Sergio Leone and Battlestar Galactica can agree upon.

One Wolf recently released a split 7″ with Thrift Store Cowboys on Mt. Inadale Records, which featured a new song from each of the bands. The band is in the process of recording their sophomore album this spring.
